The draw is coming up!

We'll be doing the Give A Way draw soon.  Thanks to those that have commented, mentioned us or followed!  We appreciate it immensely.  We've been busy packing for the move so have been neglectful of the blog....yes, I know....we're terrible!  But, we managed to get out and about some, so took a few photo's...
Eagles and such.

A wee bit of the beautiful Chilkat Mtn Range. IT's too bad there was haze on the mountains.  We're hoping the sky will be clear tomorrow so we can snap more pics.






We stopped by the an area where the car ferry takes passengers to Haines etc., and noticed a Bald eagle sitting on an old stump at the edge of the water.  Didn't bother to move though we got pretty close. Strange....they always take off if you get too close.

Soon after, another bald eagle joined the first. He was young, as you can tell from his feathers and coloring.
They apparently enjoyed bathing in the small pools of water near the shore.  My hubby realized after we had downloaded the pics that the first eagle didn't take off when we got too close because he was soaking wet!
